Lego Sequencer

Designer Yoshi Akai made this 3 channel, 8 step sequencer with Legos and steampunk styled metal hardware. Adding the Lego blocks makes sounds and beats. Different sounds are also created from different colored bricks. Naturally, as with all Legos, you'll want to build your structures taller. When you stack the blocks higher and higher, it makes the sounds more complex.

Not sure why he had Mickey Mouse do the demo.

Lost Star in Prison Training Video

In 1992 Lost's Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus) had his break out role in a series of prison training videos.

It looks like 12 years of additional acting experience was of great benefit to Michael.

Bengal Tiger Cannonball

Tiger Splash is a daily event at Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde, AZ. Everyday for 30 min two of the tigers play in a swimming pool with their trainers.

The show starts with about three or five keepers coming into the pool area with the tigers. The tigers walk and run around the pool area, showing love and affection for their keepers by rubbing up against them just like a house cat rubs against their owner. The keeper then runs around the pool getting the tigers' attention. It's like playing with your house cat with a toy. You wave the toy in front of the cat to get the cat to chase it. The keepers want the tigers to chase them, when they have the tiger's attention they will run, dive or jump into the pool. Most of the time the tigers will jump in right after them.

The trainers say the tigers keep their claws retracted the entire time they are playing. I would hate to be there the one time they decided to let their claws breathe.
